Give Back

Anyone who visits the Methow Valley quickly understands how special it is here. Our team at The Inn strives to support our local community and conserve this beautiful place that we all share. With this in mind, we are excited to promote four non-profit organizations and their inspiring work throughout the Methow Valley: Methow Housing Trust, Methow Trails, Twisp Works and Methow Conservancy. If you are interested, you may donate to any or all of the four non-profits we support. The Inn will match up to $1,000.00 donated by our guests annually.

Thank you in advance for supporting the Methow Valley.

Methow Housing Trust

For many Methow Valley residents, the stability and benefits of home-ownership are forever out of reach. As the Valley grows and changes, living wages cannot keep pace with dramatically increasing real estate values, leaving more and more Valley households in unsustainable living situations. The Methow Housing Trust develops and preserves affordable, quality housing for residents of the Methow Valley. Our homeownership program provides eligible full time Valley residents, the opportunity to own a home in the place they love, live, work and play. Continued community investment in the Methow Housing Trust ensures the creation of more permanently affordable homes for our community members.

Methow Trails

Methow Trails was founded in 1977 and is now the largest cross-country ski area in North America with over 120+ miles groomed nightly. We are a non-profit whose mission is to connect people, nature, and communities through a world-class trail system. While cross-country skiing is at the core of our operation, we manage over 120 miles of trails for year-round recreation, including cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, fatbiking, hiking, trail running, mountain biking, and horseback riding. This is possible through partnerships with over 175 generous landowners and land managers who allow public access to their land. Support from our trail users and donors allow us to ensure world-class grooming and year-round maintenance of the trails, provide free trail access and event participation to all kids 17 and under, and support a vibrant year-round economy in the Methow Valley. We know that access to outdoor recreation is critical to the mental and physical well-being of our community (93% of participants in a recent survey reported that the quality of their lives is significantly improved because of Methow Trails), and we are so grateful for your support so that we continue to provide these vital experiences and connections. TwispWorks

Founded in 2009, TwispWorks' mission is to increase the economic and cultural vitality in the Methow Valley. We operate a 6.4-acre campus in Twisp that is now home to more than 35 organizations employing more than 100 people. Our campus has become a community hub, an economic engine and a center for creativity.

Since the start of the pandemic, TwispWorks has focused our efforts helping our local business community weather the impacts of COVID 19. We connected more than 500 businesses and sole proprietorships to nearly $10M in relief and recovery support. We created an emergency grant program, providing over $70,000 in grants to 48 businesses so far. We've called, emailed, texted, and made more than 2,000 connections with local businesses since March 2020 and this has opened doors to future programming, partnerships, and impact we could never have imagined. But we need your help to continue! Please visit www.TwispWorks.org/donate to ensure our programs and services can continue to help our community recover from the pandemic and emerge more resilient.

Methow Conservancy

The Methow Conservancy is your local land trust, here to protect the rivers, landscapes, and breath-taking views that you love. Working with willing private landowners, we have permanently protected more than 10,000 acres of wildlife habitat, fertile soils, and scenic views in this amazing watershed. We believe that the more you get to know about this Valley, the more you will love it. That's why we also run educational programs – for all ages – to share or sense of wonder about the flora and fauna of the Methow Valley. To learn more about how we inspire people to care for the land, visit our website at www.methowconservancy.org.
