Our cancellation policy doesn't allow us to issue refunds for the vacation rental or hotel room once payment has been made. In most cases we collect full payment 30 days before your stay, when payments become non-refundable. Some nightly rental cabins have non-refundable deposits at the time of booking and/or 60 day terms for full payment, this will be mentioned in the listing and booking confirmation. We offer a Guest Protect Travel Insurance Plan with travel assistance services provided by Generali Global Assistance that can reimburse your unused, non-refundable, prepaid trip costs if you're forced to cancel for a covered reason.
The Plan includes coverage for the loss of your prepaid, non-refundable trip costs if your trip is canceled or interrupted due to certain unforeseeable events. We offer travel protection as a way for you to help protect yourself and your trip investment. Outstanding reservation costs are not eligible for reimbursement at the time of cancellation and the cost of the Plan is not eligible for a full refund outside of the Plan’s free look period. Some examples of covered events include sickness, injury, or death of yourself, family member, or traveling companion; flight delays due to adverse weather; a documented traffic accident en route to your departure; mandatory evacuation at your destination due to natural disaster; interruption of road service due to adverse weather; interruption of essential services at your rental due to adverse weather; your home made uninhabitable due to a hurricane or other natural disaster; acts of terrorism; and more.
